With the adoption of this Policy, the management of Drorys Packlist Spa commits to ensuring conduct that prioritizes social responsibility, environmental protection, customer satisfaction, and the maintenance of its well-established reputation within the industry.
In particular, Drorys Packlist Spa aims to:
- Respect the environment and ensure the safety of those working at the company, by involving them in understanding the importance of their work;
- Make this statement public to all stakeholders, including its employees, and communicate it to its certification body;
- Ensure product traceability in accordance with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody standard;
- Reject all forms of forced labor, compulsory labor, or child labor, that is, not to employ individuals under the minimum age for employment as established by Italian law—which stipulates that work may not be performed by anyone under the age of 15—and not to maintain business relationships with suppliers who exploit or use child labor, either directly or indirectly;
- not to employ persons under the age of 18 in hazardous or heavy work and to prohibit, in general, any form of child labor;
- to ensure that all employment relationships are voluntary and based on mutual consent, free from any threats or punishment;
- to guarantee the absence of forced labor in any form (physical and sexual violence, bonded labor, wage deductions, restrictions on movement, withholding of identity documents or similar, threats, and legal action);
- ensure that there is no discrimination in employment or occupation;
- Guarantee that its employees are free to join a union in accordance with Italian law and respect the diversity of opinions among different organizations;
- Guarantee that its employees have the opportunity to be represented by labor unions or other elected representatives in accordance with the laws and practices in effect at the company’s headquarters in Italy;
- commit to establishing, maintaining, and fostering constructive relationships in all types of business partnerships, provided such relationships are conducted in compliance with applicable Italian laws;
- Comply with the collective bargaining agreements applicable to its sector (wages, benefits, bonuses, leave, and all other forms of compensation) as recognized by Italian law.
Drorys Packlist Spa commits to upholding the FSC values as defined in FSC-POL-01-004, declaring that the organization is not directly or indirectly involved in the following activities:
- Illegal harvesting or illegal trade in forest products;
- Violation of traditional and human rights in the forestry or forest products sector;
- Violation of workers’ rights and the principles defined in the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work in the forestry or forest products sector;
- Destruction of High Conservation Value areas in forests or areas of High Conservation Value;
- Conversion of natural forest cover;
- Use of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations for purposes other than research.
